Warehouse Supervisor required to work for our client in Abingdon Oxfordshire.

Our client is a family run business within the Medical Industry that are looking for a reliable and dynamic individual to join their warehouse on a permanent basis.

Salary: £28,000 Per Annum

Job details: Permanent

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00

Holiday Entitlement: 25 Days & Bank Holidays

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a streamlined operation within our facility, ensuring that all activities related to receiving, storage, and distribution are executed efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of warehouse staff, helping to foster a positive and productive work environment.

About the role:

As the Warehouse Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Coordinate with other departments to align warehouse operations with overall business objectives.
Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
Raise new stock Purchase orders
Support the sales order processing team.

About you as the Warehouse Supervisor

Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role in warehouse management.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Current Licence to operate counterbalance fork truck
