Overview
Wright Staff Recruitment are seeking skilled and reliable Class 1 Drivers for our client in the Grimsby area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods, ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and in compliance with all relevant regulations.

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively.

Duties

* Operate a lorry in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

* Execute timely deliveries of goods to various locations, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.

* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

* Assist with loading and unloading cargo as required, ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently.

* Uphold company policies regarding safety protocols and customer service standards.

* Delivery route is trunking to and from our clients location in Grimsby and the Liverpool/Manchester area with a curtain sider.

Experience

* Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.

* Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) with a clean driving record is essential.

* Experience with flatbed lorry operations is an advantage.

* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.

* Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

* Good communication skills for effective interaction with customers and colleagues.

Pay: £16.25 per hour
