1-1 Teaching Assistant - Blackpool:

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join a lovely school in Blackpool. You will be supporting pupils 1-1.

The Role:

Communicating regularly with the SENCO and external agencies regarding progress and any necessary updates to EHCPs
Positively and effectively managing behaviour with de-escalation techniques
Building rapport with the pupil to establish a positive, professional relationshipPosition Details:

Location: Blackpool
Position: 1-1 TA
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm
Minimum Rate of Pay: £110 per day, depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Previous experience supporting SEN within a school setting
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable
Team Teach Training is highly desirableELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two yearsOTHER:
