Peopleforce Recruitment are delighted to be supporting the expansion of an established Fire and Security business based in Birmingham. We are seeking skilled Fire and Security Installation and Service Engineers with expertise in Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and/or Fire Systems to join our growing team in the Midlands. If you’re experienced in security but haven’t yet ventured into fire alarm systems - or vice versa - this company is ready to support your training and provide the courses needed to broaden your expertise.

This is a permanent position ideal for professionals with at least three years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

* Based out of our Birmingham office, you will visit customer sites and private properties to carry out high-quality installations of fire and/or security systems, including:

* Audible and remote signalling fire and intruder alarms

* Access control systems

* CCTV systems

* Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes of practice

* Commission systems and complete related documentation

* Update "as-fitted" drawings

* Deliver demonstrations and handovers to end-users

Requirements

* A minimum of 3 years’ experience with an NSI or SSAIB-accredited company

* Strong communication skills

* Familiarity with systems such as Castle, Pyronix, Advanced, Net2, and Hikvision

* A motivated, enthusiastic approach with attention to detail and teamwork skills
