The Role:

Are you an experienced Design Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity? Join the dynamic engineering team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. As a key player you'll contribute to providing top-notch design services to our clientele, primarily OEM machine tool providers in the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities:

* Source necessary information upon receipt of the order acknowledgment to create innovative design solutions.

* Collaborate with the engineering team to produce detailed technical drawings for in-house manufactured products.

* Liaise with production teams to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of final products.

* Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers to guarantee unparalleled service.

About You:

We're not just looking for a Design Engineer; we're seeking someone with:

* A strong and professional work ethic.

* A passion for engineering and technical design, coupled with an innovative mindset.

* 5+ years of experience in engineering design within a drawing office environment.

* Proficiency in designing sheet metal and rotary equipment, ideally in the material handling/conveyor industry.

* Experience with 3D & 2D CAD software (Solidworks & Radan preferred, training provided if necessary).

* Familiarity with European/British standards & the Machinery Directive.

* Meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

* A qualification in engineering design or related field (advantageous but not essential).
