We’re working with an expanding Independent Connection Provider (ICP) that’s building a reputation for technical expertise, flexibility, and quality. As they continue to win more work in the high-voltage space, they’re now looking for a Tendering Engineer to join their close-knit team.
? The Role
You’ll be responsible for developing costed tenders for high-voltage (primarily 33kV & 132kV) grid connection projects. This includes:

Interpreting client specifications, drawings and technical requirements
*
Developing competitive tenders and liaising with DNOs, IDNOs and clients
*
Coordinating with design, estimating and delivery teams
*
Supporting contract handovers and commercial risk reviews
*
Contributing to pricing strategy and client engagement
✅ What You’ll Need
*
Experience tendering 132kV grid connection projects
*
A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering (HNC, HND or Degree)
*
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*
Familiarity with ICP/DNO industry standards and practices
