Assistant Team Manager – Occupational Therapy

3 month initial contract

West Midlands

£42.50 per hour

Inside IR35 (via umbrella)

Fully remote

CV's are being reviewed immediately and interviews will be taking place week commencing 31st March 2025.

To provide professional leadership and support to a team of qualified and unqualified staff within a multidisciplinary team whilst ensuring practice standards are adhered to.

Your Role as Assistant Occupational Therapy Team Manager:

Assistance with managing the occupational therapy team
Performance management, coaching and mentoring
Allocation of work across the team
Provide expert advice and guidance to social care staff 

Your previous experience as an Assistant Occupational Therapy Team Manager:

Experience within a Local Authority Occupational Therapy team
Experience of leading a social work team
Sound knowledge of current legislation and safeguarding principles
Excellent knowledge of assessments for the provision of services, minor and major adaptations, mobility and risk assessments
Willingness to complete and enhanced DBS or hold a current enhanced DBS
