ABOUT THE ROLE
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an exciting start-up business as Creative Artworker. The Creative Artworker will understand the customer graphic design requirements, placement of design and adaptation of existing artwork. Advancing artwork in own brands to meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities will include:
* Creating graphic designs aligned with customer requirements
* Work collaboratively with sales experience team members on understanding customer specifications for artwork, packaging, labels and POS
* Work cross-functionally on in-house branded projects to align graphic requirements as needed
* Collaborating with the Creative Director to ensure a common vision and consistent branding is met
* Developing draft concepts for customer meetings
* Ensuring design projects remain within scope, time and budget
* Liaising with external parties, product development, specialist and vendors to ensure a project runs smoothly and to customers’ expectations
* Presenting final design concepts, including specifications for fonts, images, colours, text, layout to the customer to gain approvals.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for the role as Creative Artworker you must have:
* Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software.
* Proven experience in producing packaging designs
* Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign is essential
* Exceptional creativity and innovation.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.
* Thrive on velocity and interchangability of a start-up environment
* Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
ABOUT THE CLIENT
An exciting start-up retail supplier based just outside central Manchester. Dog-friendly office. The role is office based so applicant must live in a commutable distance to be considered.
SALARY
Circa £28,000 - 32,000 - flexible depending on experience
