Senior Systems Engineer - Group Lead

Based in Uxbridge (Hybrid working)

£60,000 - £70,000 per annum

What you'll be doing:
As a Senior Systems Engineer Group Lead, you'll lead the Embedded Systems team, managing the development, verification, and ongoing support of complex electro/software-mechanical subsystems. You'll drive projects to successful completion, ensuring they meet customer requirements while managing risks and resources. You'll also mentor and develop a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide functional leadership and guidance to the Embedded Systems team
Prioritize engineering activities to ensure timely and quality project delivery
Collaborate with Programme Management to identify and manage risks
Develop team capabilities through coaching and professional development
Drive continuous improvement in processes and productsWho you are:

Experienced leader, capable of managing and motivating a team
Strong communicator with a methodical problem-solving approach
Knowledgeable in Systems and/or Electronics engineering principles
Committed to the highest engineering standards with a focus on getting things right first timeQualifications:

Degree in Engineering, Physics, Maths, or similar, or equivalent industry experience
Proven experience in team leadership and people management
