MET Bodyshop Technician Stripper / Fitter
Location: High Ercall
Salary: £28,500 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (30 minutes for lunch, unpaid) — 40 hours per week

A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as an MET Bodyshop Technician Stripper/Fitter at our High Ercall site. This is a great role for someone with experience in stripping and fitting mechanical, electrical, and trim items on a variety of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accurately and skilfully remove and replace mechanical, electrical, and trim items.

* Undertake panel repairs or replacements on damaged vehicles, following manufacturer instructions.

* Detect and diagnose any additional faults during the repair process.

* Refit any stripped panels and trims removed for Bodyshop repairs.

* Remove and refit parts across multiple vehicle makes and models.

* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting industry guidelines.

* Maintain a tidy and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.

What We Need From You:

* Extensive experience working with a wide range of motor vehicle makes and models.

* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

* Awareness of health, safety, and environmental standards.

* Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to accommodate requests from colleagues.

* A self-motivated attitude and the ability to work efficiently under changing priorities.
