About the Role

As a key member of the team, you will be working as a Forklift Field Service Engineer to provide repair and maintenance of Electric, LPG and Diesel forklifts and other material handling equipment. The Responsibilities include:

* Managing workload and prioritising jobs according to customer demands and company targets.

* Carrying out effective preventative maintenance to minimise unplanned breakdowns.

* Carrying out fault diagnosis and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems efficiently and effectively.

* Completion and provision of company documentation and records as required by the company management system.

* Communicating with customers to agree remedial actions where necessary

* Using Laptop and PDA to identify parts required and communicate requirements to the office team.

About You

Are you a motivated Forklift Field Service Engineer? If this sounds like you, we really want to hear from you. You will require to have the following skills:

* Are a time served tradesperson in the engineering sector with minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualifications

* Are skilled in mechanical and/or electrical engineering

* Have the ability to develop and maintain customer relationships to provide excellent customer care.

* Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

* Have a full UK driving License
