Here at Sterling Recruitment Services we are recruiting a Surface Grinder on a permanent basis for our client based in the Gateshead area.

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 37 hrs per week. Day Shift.

Duties include;

* To undertake metal grinding operations using shop floor equipment

* Read and work from engineering drawings

* Produce parts within quality standard required

* Work to tight tolerances

* Be flexible across machine shop/factory

* Assist team leader as required

Candidate Criteria

* Time served competent grinder

* Extensive grinding experience in engineering organisations

* Be able to do surface and cylindrical grinding

* Work to detail and fine tolerances

* Flexible and able to work overtime as required
