Position: Lead Commissioning Engineer (Water Sector)

Rate: Up to £500 per day (Outside IR35)

Are you an experienced Commissioning Engineer seeking a dynamic role in the UK water sector? Join our team as part of the Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme in a long-term, high-impact position, outside IR35.
This position offers a key role in supporting our commissioning team across multiple water treatment schemes. Working closely with the MEICA Manager, you'll be integral in assuring the quality and functionality of wastewater systems for our clients. Your expertise will help us enhance water treatment facilities, contributing to critical infrastructure projects in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
·Project Involvement: Collaborate across multiple wastewater schemes as part of a well-established commissioning team.
·Asset Assurance: Perform commissioning activities ensuring compliance with Thames Water Utilities Limited (TWUL) standards.
·Problem-Solving: Leverage your expertise to troubleshoot, solve issues, and optimize commissioning processes for mechanical and electrical systems.
Requirements:
·Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the UK water industry.
·Education: BEng/ONC/HNC/BTEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
·Skills: Strong judgment, problem-solving capabilities, and a practical understanding of sewage and water treatment processes.
·Certifications: Relevant CSCS card, SMSTS, Confined Spaces certification.
·Technical Proficiency: Proven experience commissioning M&E plants, with a good working knowledge of water treatment processes and M&E plant equipment.
·Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with TWUL Asset Standards.
·Driver's License: Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable:
·Certifications: Thames Water Passport (can be arranged upon commencement), DSEAR knowledge or COMPEX qualifications, EUSR Water Hygiene Card.
·Professional Affiliation: Membership with IMECHE or related institutions.
