Senior Planner

Location: Hoddesdon

Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum plus additional benefits.

My Client are currently looking for a Senior Planner to join their team to work on multiple projects in the South East area. 

Senior Planner key responsibilities: 

Manage and maintain an overview of all Planning/Programme activities for multiple projects, ensuring effective scheduling and resource allocation.
Support the Project Manager in all Planning/Programme-related tasks, developing and refining project methodologies to ensure successful project execution.
Promote and implement ‘best value’ design solutions to add value to projects and ensure cost-effective, efficient outcomes.
Utilize planning software (P6 Primavera and ASTA Powerproject) to manage project timelines, track progress, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Identify risks and implement schedule adjustments as necessary to maintain project delivery within agreed timelines, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Senior Planner competencies:

Project Planning & Scheduling Expertise
Proficient in creating, managing, and monitoring project schedules using planning tools such as P6 Primavera and ASTA Powerproject.
Risk Management
Skilled in identifying potential risks and challenges within project timelines and developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Analytical Thinking
Strong ability to analyze project data, timelines, and resources to optimize planning and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Collaboration & Communication
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide clear project updates to stakeholders.
Attention to Detail
Meticulous in managing project details, ensuring all aspects of the planning and scheduling process are accurate, and aligned with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
