Salary/Rate: £18/hour 28 days paid holiday

We are looking for a Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Newcastle.                         

 The job in a nutshell

Salary: £18.00 per hour
Monday to Friday

Vehicle Mechanic
As a vehicle technician, you will be undertaking vehicle servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs to an extremely high standard, working swiftly and efficiently to create a safe and productive environment. You will ensure the cars are mechanically prepared to a high standard. 

Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs Level 3 or equivalent qualification required.

What you will be doing as a vehicle technician

Conduct servicing and repairs to many different marques of vehicle, performing diagnostic
testing to identify faults
Maintaining a safe and productive work environment
Understanding of different warranty schemes and how these affect customers
Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and on time
Ensuring Pre Delivery Inspections are completed notifying the customer of any advisory
Follow assignments through to completion, meets deadlines, and deliver on promises
Requirements for a vehicle technician

Previous experience and/or relevant qualification is essential 
A high level of attention to detail and accuracy. 
A keen eye for minor issues. 
The ability to communicate with a diverse workgroup. 
A Full UK/EU Driving Licence is essential for this role
