International Service and Installation Engineer

Fantastic opportunity for a skilled Technician looking to undertake an interesting newly created role offering training and development and international travel.
Due to continued product diversification and investment, this progressive electro-mechanical design, development and manufacturing organisation supplying a range of prestigious clients and industries are seeking a Service and Installation technician to undertake a hybrid role.
You will spend 50% of your time undertaking Service work to a European and US customer base (opportunity to travel and see Europe and the US) and 50% of your time on-site testing and working with development to feedback findings from the field in their smart facility.
You will ideally need to be dual skilled, electrical and mechanical and have a background in service and installation of commercial products, fitting and wiring skills coupled with excellent customer facing skills.
This is a key position within the business and has responsibility for:
Building, testing and commissioning equipment
Assisting with installation of products at customer sites
Fault-finding and repairing electromechanical issues at customer sites
Build and test activities in house
Technical support to customers and training support on installations

To succeed in this interesting key role, you will need to be:
A customer focussed Technician / Engineer with a background in a Service Engineering / Field service Engineer capacity or similar
Fault-finding / diagnosing faults on electro-mechanical industrial / capital equipment (board level not component level)
Multi-skilled
Good communication and written skills
The ability to travel to sites Internationally on a regular basis (Up to 50% of your time, Monday to Friday)
