As a member of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Team within Enable, you will support the achievement of these key priorities, making a real difference to the lives of people in Shropshire.

Enable is Shropshire Councils employment service for people with health conditions or disabilities and has teams specialising in mental health employment, learning disability and autism employment and employment of young people with SEND.

Overview of your role

You will work closely with the Senior IPS Specialist to support the delivery of a High Quality IPS Service in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.

Who will your manager be and what will you be responsible for?

You will be:

Reporting to the IPS Employment Manager who is in turn responsible for your health and safety, training and development.

What will you be doing?

Core Duties:

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

To develop and monitor quality assurance systems for Enable in line with IPS Fidelity

Create, develop, and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and external contacts.

Co-ordinate and oversee the efficient accurate collation of documents, itineraries, appointments for Enable Fidelity Reviews and Contract Review Meetings

Ensure all documentation for Enable quality assurance systems are in place.

Store, retrieve and supply information. This will include developing and maintaining electronic data storage systems and supplying information as required.

Produce information on Key Performance Indicators to agreed deadlines and in appropriate formats.

Facilitate feedback opportunities for clients to provide feedback on the service and use this to review and develop the service.

Take an active part in the development of Enables services to people with disabilities within Shropshire and across Enables services.

Data Assurance:

Enter and integrate data using a computer system and presenting information in various formats including spreadsheets and databases, using a variety of software applications which include Word, Access, Excel, and Power Point

Produce regular monitoring reports for internal and external stakeholders, including commissioners.

Prepare and present data at team meetings.

Collate and report on client feedback.

Monitor and report on client equality and diversity.

Relationship Management:

Establish positive and integrated relationships:

To develop effective working relationships with a range of external and internal agencies to support the development and delivery of a high quality IPS Service.

Other:

Responsible for marketing and profiling the service for the team. This includes delivering the communications strategy, collecting employment recovery stories etc.

Manage a small caseload of clients.

Process all referrals into the service.

To work independently, reliably and deliver consistently to deliver effective IPS practice.

Ensure that effective monitoring and evaluation systems are adhered to and keep abreast of changing practice within vocational rehabilitation.

To collect employment recovery stories from people accessing the service.

To contribute to Enable Training as required.

Implement the organisations policies and procedures as required.

Actively participate in own continuous professional development

Partake in continuous learning about mental health conditions, their impact and how they can be managed and undertake mandatory training as required.

Work flexible hours as required.

ensure safe systems of work in accordance with the Shropshire Councils Health, Safety and Welfare policies and procedures.

You will be expected to become involved in a range of work to enable the service to respond effectively to the changing requirements of the Council and changes affecting the workforce.
