Teaching Personnel are looking for multiple SEN Teaching Assistants that are based in York to join our agency. If you have fuill time or part time availability and are based in York this could be the ideal role for you.
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (open to all SEN experience)
Full time or Part time: Full time & Part time work available (no less than two days availability wanted)
Duration: This can vary depending on role and the needs. Will also only be working in term time only

Role Overview:
Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they can fully access the curriculum and engage in their learning.
Work one-to-one or in small groups with students who require additional help, adapting teaching strategies to meet their individual needs.
Assist class teachers in delivering lessons, focusing on differentiated instruction to support SEN students.
Help implement personalised learning plans (PLPs), ensuring that targets are met and progress is regularly reviewed.
Offer emotional and behavioural support to students, helping them build confidence, self-regulation, and social skills.
Liaise with SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), teachers, and parents to ensure consistent support and communication regarding student progress.
Support students in a variety of settings, including mainstream classrooms and specialised interventions, ensuring an inclusive and nurturing environment
Key Details:
Pay: £425.25 - £500 per week, depending on experience.
Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
Start date: ASAP with the role continuing until the end of the academic year. There is potential for the role to become permanent based on performance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
