Rate: £18 - £20ph dependant on shift and experience
Shift: 7am – 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 7am -12pm

Our client who manufacture components for aerospace and defence clients for over 60 years is currently seeking to recruit SHEET METAL WORKERS, You will become part of a prestigious company within the UK. Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks (disclosure & barring service) may be required. Please also note at this time we do not offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.
Skills required for this Sheet Metal Worker position:
* Forming profiles of aerospace products to a high specification
* Ability to use sheet machines such as wheeling jig, rollers, stretch formers, brake presses, shrinking and stretching machines
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Hand and power tools
* Working with aluminium, aerospace composites and titanium
* Minimum of 5 years experience in the production of aircraft sheet details
* Industry experience - Aerospace (ideal), Nuclear, Medical or Automotive (high end)
* Must have good team working skills coupled with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
* Flexible and forward thinker with a 'can do' attitude
