EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Fabricator to join a precision engineering company located in Walsall, working on a permanent basis.

About the Role

Our client manufactures precision solutions for high-profile customers within high-integrity safety-critical industries. Due to further expansion and new project wins, they are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join their growing team.

Your responsibilities will include:

*

Plating / Fabricating components - identifying the best method of manufacture and carrying out the necessary duties - assembling, forming, tacking, etc.

*

Welding where required - MIG, TIG, STICK

*

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

*

Working with heavy manufactured, safety-critical components to tight tolerances

Successful applicants must demonstrate:

*

Strong Fabrication or Plating experience within precision engineering or advanced manufacturing industries

*

Worked with heavy-duty fabricated components

*

Strong fabrication background in high-integrity industries

*

Ability to identify a method of manufacture - how the part needs to be fabricated and be able to follow this through

*

Ability to work to tight tolerances

*

Experience working with materials ranging from 3mm to 90mm thick

***Experience in MIG, TIG, MAG or STICK welding would be preferable but not essential
