A prestigious client near chesterfield is currently in search of a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their team on an ongoing contract. This will suit someone who has worked in a electrical engineer, shift engineer, maintenance engineer role.

* The position offers a competitive rate of £30 per hour

* The shift pattern is days, nights and afters (Mon - Fri 8hrs)

Duties

* Maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment

* Ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely.

* Diagnosing faults, performing routine maintenance, and implementing preventative measures to minimise downtime.

* This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive approach and a keen eye for detail.

Skills and experience:

* A recognised electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds)

* Proven experience in a maintenance electrician role, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment

* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

* Familiarity with PLCs and automated control systems (desired)

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to health and safety standards
