A steel fabrication company in Derbyshire is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Important Details:

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per year (DOE)
Location: Derbyshire
Reporting to: Sales DirectorKey Responsibilities:

Estimating and Take-offs: Conduct steel take-offs, measure and qualify materials based on engineering and architectural drawings.
Cost Development: Prepare detailed quotations and pricing schedules aligned with company protocols.
Budget and Contract Support: Establish budgets for Commercial, Procurement, and Project Teams and review client contract documentation.
Handover Documentation: Assist in preparing documentation for handover to the Commercial and Project Teams.
Process Improvement: Maintain and enhance estimating techniques and processes.Required Skills:

Strong understanding of technical drawings, construction methods, and engineering principles within metalwork or structural steelwork.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective coordination with clients, engineers, and suppliers.
