job Title: Driver/Warehouse assistant

Duration: Permanent - full time

Salary: £24,000

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the renewable energy industry, requires a Driver/Warehouse assistant to be a part of the logistics and operations team. You will be working in a small but fast paced warehouse and you will contribute to the smooth day to day running of a business.

Responsibilities:

The role is varied with multiple responsibilities which include:

Unloading incoming deliveries; checking for damages, checking the manifest is correct to the goods received.

Packing orders to be shipped out via our partner couriers.

Driving the company van to collect orders from our suppliers.

Delivering customer orders in our own vehicles.

Warehouse maintenance; keeping our warehouse clean, tidy and well stocked.

Assisting customer collections, helping to load into their vehicles.

Ad hoc tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager.

To be on hand if other parts of the business require assistance.

Maintaining good relationships with customers.

Applying systems and processes to improve the efficiency of the warehouse.

Requirements and Skills:

Can do attitude

Flexibility

Positivity

Good communication skills

Driving license

Experience in the renewable energy/solar industry

Computer skills
