Field Trials Officer - Milton Keynes - Up to £36,000 + Company truck
We have an exciting opportunity for a Trials Officer to join our client’s team in Milton Keynes. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on agricultural field trials, with opportunities for professional growth and hands-on work with cutting-edge research.
Role:
* Plan, execute, and report on field trials for agricultural research.
* Operate agricultural machinery such as plot drills, tractors, and plot combines
* Conduct field assessments, including disease evaluation and crop physiology analysis.
* Perform quantitative analysis like plant population measurement and weed counts.
* Maintain equipment records and ensure accurate record-keeping.
* Conduct soil sampling and other trial assessments.
* Analyse data and provide statistical evaluations of trial results.
* Travel to different sites and farms as needed for trial operations.
* Reporting directly to Trials Manager
Salary/Benefits:
* £32,000 - £36,000 per year (doe)
* Company truck and fuel card included

Skills/Experience:
* Previous experience in field trials (Essential)
* Proficient with agricultural machinery (Essential)
* Relevant agricultural or land-based qualification; Diploma level or higher (Essential)
* Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Valid full driving license.
Location/Radius:
* Milton Keynes (with potential travel to other sites)
