Penguin Recruitment are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Graduate Town Planner to join a growing team of Planning Specialists in Bury St. Edmunds!

As a Graduate Town Planner, you will join this dynamic planning team based in the heart of historic Bury St Edmunds. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of planning projects, from residential and commercial developments to public space regeneration.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of planning applications and reports, ensuring compliance with local planning policies and regulations.
Conduct research and gather data to support planning proposals and development strategies.
Engage with clients, stakeholders, and local communities to gather feedback and contribute to consultations.
Stay up to date with planning legislation, local policies, and emerging trends in town planning.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, dedicated, and ready to develop their skills in town planning. You will have:

A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Geography, or a related discipline.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge of planning regulations and policies.
A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work well within a team.
