West Sussex – Buyer – £35k-£45k - Electronics

Platform Recruitment has partnered with a leading provider of power electronics solutions. They are looking to recruit a Buyer to join their team. You will perform various purchasing assignments and activities to support daily material needs with limited supervision.

Main Duties:

+ Coordinating purchasing activities to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner

+ Acquiring technical understanding of products purchased

+ Obtaining materials using RFQ, negotiation, and cost analysis techniques

+ Maximizing material availability while minimizing inventory

Key Skills:

+ At least 3 -5 years in Purchasing/Planning environment

+ Experience in a fast paced, high mix/low volume purchasing environment

+ Previous experience in electronics purchasing

Salary/Location:

+ The salary for this position is £35k-£45k, depending on experience

+ This role is based in West Sussex, onsite 5 days per week
