Site Manager (Night shifts) - Airport works - Stansted Airport

This £35m turnover contractor provides multi-faceted construction solutions within challenging live environments.

They are looking for a Site Manager to add to their night aviation works team based at Stansted airport. The company has a long-standing partner on a framework agreement.

The ideal' Site Manager (Night Manager) would have previous aviation experience working for a main contractor, or a steady track record working within live environments. The shifts are generally 9hrs per night - usually 20:00pm - 06:00am, but this can change depending upon the project.

Projects could range from an 8-week new build steel frame forecourt to retail store fit-outs, airport seating (10 weeks) or new check-in desks. The majority of the works range from £150,000 - £1m.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
•CSCS card (relevant to their position)
•A construction related degree, HNC/HND or NVQ Level 4 are highly desirable.
•SMSTS or equivalent is highly desirable.
•Sound understanding and experience in the application of safety legislation and corporate safety procedures, including CDM.
•Good management and communication skills
•Good operational planning and time management skills
•Drivers Licence - Maximum of 3 penalty points
•DFT requirement for a 5-year, checkable work history - Airside pass criteria
