As a valued member of our staff, you will inspire students to achieve their potential and cultivate a love for mathematics through engaging and innovative teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum for students aged 11-16.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and respect.
* Track and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote academic growth.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best teaching practices.
* Participate actively in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.
* Support students in developing mathematical skills that are essential for real-world applications.
Requirements:
* A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level.
* Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
* A passion for inspiring young minds and making mathematics accessible and engaging for all students.
Desirable Attributes:
* Previous experience preparing students for GCSE examinations.
* Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and digital resources.
