Job Opportunity: Inclusion Manager
Recruiting on behalf of a partnered secondary school
Purpose:
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with autism? We are seeking an Inclusion Manager to lead the Autism Base and manage a team of Teaching Assistants (TAs), ensuring high-quality learning support through classroom assistance and small group interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Autism Base under the direction of the SENCo.
Lead and support TAs in fostering students' academic and emotional development.
Oversee personal care, exam access arrangements, and provide support during school trips as needed.
Ensure smooth transitions for students from feeder schools to the Autism Base.
Write and maintain Pupil Profiles, monitor social progress, and manage baseline testing.
Attend review meetings, produce reports, and ensure the availability of specialist resources.
Monitor student attendance and organise team meetings for staff development.
Collaborate with departments and external agencies to support inclusion initiatives.

Director of Learning Support and Inclusion (SENCo)
Responsible for:
A team of Teaching Assistants
Working Time:
37 hours per week, term-time plus 10 days (including 5 Professional Development Days)
