As a fire engineer you will report to the Supervisor / Contract Manager, and you are the first point of contact between the business and our client. You must have good written and oral communication skills and have a high level of technical knowledge across the fire industry. Acting as an ambassador to position the company’s reputation as a leading and respected employer. The main duties of a Fire Engineer include:
* Fire alarm Servicing and maintenance, reactive and repair and installation work
* Diagnosing and rectifying faults
* Carrying out company works as required and to desired standards
* Providing the highest level of customer care and always promoting a good external perception of the company
* Complying with company procedures and policies to ensure smooth delivery of our service
* Producing reporting on time and to agreed standards
* Adhering to the company’s quality management system and recycle correctly and responsibly
* Experience in fire alarm maintenance, installations and repairs, preferably within the public sector
* FIA qualification is preferable but not essential
* A sound knowledge of tools, equipment & materials
* Current Trade Qualifications
* Good communication skills, both verbal & written
* IT literate
* A commitment to great customer service
