Position: CAM Programmer

Location: Bradford

Role Summary:

Recruit Engineering is seeking a skilled CAM Programmer for a client based in Bradford. This role offers a mix of shop floor and office responsibilities. We are looking for a candidate with strong CNC milling skills, proficiency in CAD/CAM software (preferably OneCNC), and experience in programming with Fanuc or Haas controls.

Key Responsibilities:

* Program machining tasks using CAD/CAM software.

* Operate CNC milling machines to create precise parts according to specifications.

* Optimise machine performance using G Codes.

* Verify designs and tolerances to ensure high-quality output.

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

* Collaborate with the team to enhance production processes.

* Earn £17 - £18 per hour, with optional overtime available during day shifts, based on experience.

Qualifications:

* Demonstrated experience as a CNC Miller in precision engineering.

* Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, with a preference for OneCNC.

* Skilled in programming machines using G Codes.

* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.

* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
