Part Time Warehouse Operative

Location: Near Saffron Walden

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Hours: Part-time, 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £23,500 (full-time equivalent)

Are you looking for a hands-on, part-time role in a busy warehouse environment? We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our client's team and take on essential tasks to ensure that customer orders are picked, packed, and prepared accurately and efficiently for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Preparation: Pick and pack customer sales orders with accuracy and attention to detail.

Labelling: Ensure all customer orders are correctly labeled before dispatch.

Stock Maintenance: Replenish warehouse stock, participate in stocktakes, and assist with rolling stock checks.

Goods-In Support: Help in receiving deliveries and performing related tasks.

Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain the paint mixing machine (training provided).

Manual Handling: Engage in safe manual handling practices; heavy lifting required.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to maintain productivity and workflow.

General Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse tidy, organized, and safe.

Qualifications:

Forklift License: A current forklift license is a plus, though not required.

Physical Capability: Comfortable with manual handling and lifting tasks.

Team Player: Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work independently.
