Cyber Security Consultant - £60k, Frimley, Hybrid, Defence.

SC & 5 years UK residency required.

My client is a global leader in the defence industry. In this role, you'll be involved in designing, building, integrating, and providing ongoing support for all the submarine platforms in the Royal Navy fleet. Your responsibility will be to ensure that submarine systems and products are developed to be secure and resilient

A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant STEM field or Information Security.
Industry-recognised security certifications like CCP, CISSP, or CISM, or the ability to obtain them.
Solid experience in risk assessment and management following industry standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
Extensive experience in applying security baselines, mitigations, and controls.
Background in Product Security, particularly in the defence, maritime, or related sectors.
Familiarity with MOD policies and regulations like SPF, JSP 440, and JSP 604, along with experience in producing RMADS.
Understanding of the security challenges related to Operational Technologies and Control Systems, and how to address them.
