We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong commitment to delivering excellent service. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations.

Duties

* Drive a 7.5 tonne lorry for the delivery of goods to various locations.

* Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe working condition.

* Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.

* Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.

* Follow designated routes and schedules, adjusting as needed for traffic or road conditions.

* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns professionally.

* Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites.

Requirements

* Valid UK driving licence with appropriate category for 7.5 tonne vehicles.

* Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred.

* Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.

* Ability to operate flatbed vehicles effectively.

* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.

* Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

* A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service
