Role Description:
An opportunity for a full-time role as a Registered Manager located in their new home in Birmingham or Redditch. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the residential home, and providing safe and nurturing care, ensuring that we maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and providing leadership and support to the staff team.
Regular and ongoing support and development is provided by the Responsible Individual. Deputy Managers ready to step up will be considered.
Main responsibilities and duties:
Responsibility for the management of safeguarding children and young people, risk and service governance
Ensure that children and have access to services which meet their health, education, social, psychological, and emotional needs and wellbeing
Monitor outcomes and progress for children in accordance with their care plans
Management supervision, reviewing and monitoring standards, and practice development
Reviewing care and service plans to ensure care is being delivered effectively
Working with commissioners, local authorities, and health practitioners
Qualifications and Experience:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willing to work towards)
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in children’s residential
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in children’s residential in supervisory/management role

3 bed home
