BIM Technician

Salary: £35,000-£45,000

A leading architecture firm in London are seeking a BIM Technician to work on high profile and innovative projects across the globe. The successful candidate will play a key part in shaping company standards, supporting projects practice-wide, and supporting BIM implementation. Based in London, this role offers the opportunity to work alongside the BIM Manager and other BIM specialists to make a significant impact on digital workflows and project success.

This position is ideal for a BIM Technician, CAD Technician, or an excellent Revit and AutoCAD user with a background in Architecture or Construction from graduate to senior level. You will need strong experience using digital design tools like Revit and AutoCAD, with an extensive portfolio to demonstrate this.

Location: Based in London
Hours: 9:00-6:00
6-month fixed term, with potential for extension depending on workload. 

Duties:

Collaborate with design teams to provide BIM support across a range of Architecture projects.
Work alongside the BIM Manager to develop and enhance company-wide standards.
Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for content creation and to maintain efficient workflows.
Investigate and adopt innovative digital tools to improve project delivery.
Support the development of the practice’s standards and digital library.
Participate in office-wide initiatives, such as work experience programs and ISO compliance. 

Requirements:

Strong experience with Revit and proficiency with AutoCAD, including production and content creation.
Familiarity with BIM processes and workflows, particularly within Architecture or Construction.
Knowledge of BS EN ISO 19650 standards and Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms
