Baird and Co Recruitment, a specialist Social Housing recruitment firm, are seeking a Registered Manager to oversee a Housing and Care service in Birmingham on an interim basis.

Starting ASAP, you would need to be a Registered Manager for CQC. The role would also require you to manage a small housing & catering team at the business's extra care facility.

The Registered Manager will be expected to:

* Manage an active 95-unit older persons service which includes 25 residents who receive additional care including end-of-life support

* Oversee a team of staff whilst directly managing a Team Leader

* Ensure approximately 100 care calls a day are made, logged and actioned appropriately

* Deliver training and upskilling existing teams

* Interact and partner with external stakeholders to build partnerships and promote strong working practices

* Manage budgets whilst helping residents access local services

* Ensure documentation and support services are updated efficiently and accurately

* Oversee health and safety practices

The below is essential to secure the Registered Manager post:

* Previous experience in a similar position

* Level 5 NVQ or an equivalent qualification

* An enhanced DBS or willingness to undertake one

* The ability to start a new role swiftly
