Engineering Technical Support required. My client is an established manufacturer and supplier of compaction and tarmacking equipment. They are now seeking an experienced technical support specialist to join their established team in Aylesford. The ideal candidate will come from a technical support background, have at least 5 years' experience in Compaction / Heavy plant and will be based within a commutable distance of Aylesford.

Engineering Technical Support Position Overview

Communicate technical information to Dealer's customers and colleagues
Handle incoming technical calls, diagnose faults and work with the Service Controller in resolving the problem
Assist customers and staff covering all technical aspects of the company's products
Set up and continually update a knowledge database that is accessible by all in the Product Support office
Assist the Service Controller in deciding eligibility of warranty repair work
Ensure the correct parts for all repair work are ordered in a timely way and supplied in line with business expectations
Telematics and Botis Systems Monitoring for servicing and repairs.
Assess and support with warranty queries

Engineering Technical Support Position Requirements

Previous experience in a technical support role is essential
Previous experience in Construction Plant / Yellow Goods / Heavy Machinery
A knowledge of compaction equipment would be advantageous
Knowledge of Sap preferable
Based within a commutable distance of Aylesford
Full driving licence

Engineering Technical Support Position Remuneration

Salary £40,000 - £45,000
Annual Bonus
Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:00
33 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
