This school strive to work with each individual student to improve them individually so promote mass improvements across the school. They are a “Good” school with aims to improve the school consistently. Students are given excellent support and provided the ability to learn knowing they are in a positive class environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural difficulties
Implement behavioural management strategies in collaboration with classroom teachers and support staff
Foster positive relationships with students, offering guidance and encouragement
Assist in the development and implementation of individualised behaviour plans
Monitor and document student progress, communicating effectively with teachers and parents/guardians
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with students with behavioural needs preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
A genuine passion for supporting students' social and emotional development
