Sales Administrator
Location: Croydon
Hours: Mon-Thur 08:30-16:30, Fri 08:30-15:30 (36.5 hours per week)
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 (depending on experience)
Contract Type: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (potential extension)
Start Date: January 2025
Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Sales Administrator to join their team on a 6-month fixed term contract. This office-based role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, customer focused environment within a global business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle customer enquiries regarding products, services, and order status.
* Respond promptly to customer enquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
* Ensure customer records are accurate and up to date.
* Provide administrative support for quotations on new projects.
* Coordinate with material control and manufacturing departments to confirm delivery timelines.
* Manage booking of service exchanges, repairs and spare part orders.
* Process and track sales orders to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Support the warranty claims process by collaborating with team members and the service team.
* Ordering of parts and progress urgent orders.
Required Skills:
* Technical mechanical sales administration background
* Proven experience in direct customer interactions.
* Strong commercial awareness.
* Excellent telephone manner
* Proficient in Excel, Word, and effective communication skills.
* Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
