They are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Production Scheduler to join their team in Goole on a fixed-term contract basis.

As a Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for the creation and ongoing updating of detailed production schedules for the assembly line based on project requirements. Your main focus will be to control and monitor production to ensure a smooth throughput of production orders, optimising resource utilisation.
Key responsibilities include:
Creating production schedules based on the overall project schedule
Controlling production sequences to achieve optimal resource utilisation
Tracking progress of production orders
Implementing measurement criteria and control to monitor workflow
Recording and monitoring workflow to map the current production status
Comparing actual dates with target dates and detecting schedule deviations
Developing schedule control measures
Coordinating material movements between production units to ensure an optimal production runEssential Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Extensive experience in assembly line scheduling
Experience in resource planning
Competency in using Microsoft tools, SAP, MS Project, and Primavera
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsDesirable Requirements:
Experience working in the manufacturing industry
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
Familiarity with quality control processes and methodologiesTechnologies:
Assembly line scheduling
Resource planning
Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
