Finance Assistant

Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 09:00 am to 17:00 pm
Pay: £13.50 per hour - weekly pay every Friday and holiday pay
Location: Kings Cross

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team on a full time basis. The successful candidate will have a strong background in both purchase sales ledger and sales ledger, as well as a detail-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

General bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Assisting in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial statements.

Handling confidential financial information with discretion.

Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in a finance assistant or bookkeeping role.
Familiarity with purchase sales ledger and sales ledger tasks.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
