The Role
New opportunity not to be missed. Our client in the Lake District has a has a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance and Hot Tub Manager  to join a growing team at our client’s friendly resorts teams.
Our client is a first-class holiday and lifestyle operator who offer a unique package to holiday makers and owners. Part of this package is a first-class grounds environment for holidaymakers to be in.
Our client’s grounds are full of gardens, lakes and hedges and the upkeep of these spaces is critical to the look of their resorts. You will be looking after teams of Gardeners, Maintenance professionals, Siting teams and Gas engineers. The Manager is responsible for engaging and inspiring their team each day and setting direction in relation to the day-to-day activities and tasks.
You will be responsible for Facilities, Managing and delivering all grounds maintenance and siting activity, in line with agreed plans, delivering an outstanding environment for our Guests, Owners and Team whilst ensuring all Health & Safety Requirements are met.
Our ideal Manager will have the following skills and experience:
- Hold a valid full UK driving licence
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Have varied skills to maintain standards: maintenance / grounds / plumbing and electrical knowledge.
- Experience working with hot tubs
- Be able to work on your own initiative
- Awareness of Health and Safety legislation and working in a safe manner
- Have excellent customer service and people skills
- Able to work shifts
- Be able to manage and motivate a team of gardeners, Maintenance staff and Gas Engineers.
 
You will need to have,
Must be highly competent (and confident) in trade skills and horticulture
Evidence of previous similar roles
Evidence of previous management of teams and processes
