The Role of the Resident Liaison Officer:
Working as part of the planned works team, the RLO will be responsible for helping to deliver a kitchen and bathroom programme across the borough. Working closely with residents and contractors to ensure the best communication is provided to residents to minimise the impacts of the works upon them.
You will be the key liaison between residents, contractors and the client whilst major works are taking place in homes. You will be responsible for processing and providing information to all parties involved in order to progress work until completion and obtain resident satisfaction surveys.
Key Responsibilities of the Resident Liaison Officer:
Providing newsletters and specific updates
Arranging contractor appointments
Carrying out site and resident visits
Attending resident meetings and being a focal point for resident contact and correspondence
Holding briefing sessions and/or drop-in sessions so residents can understand how and when specific works will take place as well as what the impact will be on their day to day lives
Deal with queries as and when they come in
Experience of the Resident Liaison Officer:
Ability to understand design information and communicate this to residents
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience of working in an RLO role
Experience of development of housing schemes within Social Housing
Wide ranging experience of decanting in regeneration scenarios
