Chief Quality Inspector

We are currently recruiting a talented Chief Quality Inspector for our client. Who are a leading precision engineering company with a rich history of excellence for many decades. This role is based in their Leeds facility where they produce high-precision components for a variety of industries.

Key Requirements for a Chief Quality Inspector

* Must have over 7 years hands on working experience as a Quality Inspector

* Must have very strong knowledge of quality control standards and procedures.

* Advanced CMM programming skills are required - over 5 years

* Any experience of Mititoyo will be a distinct advantage

* Must be a competent user of measuring equipment, e.g. Verniers, Micrometers, CMM’s and vision systems

* Some experience of leadership will be required

* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

* Ability to lead and motivate a team.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software.

* Relevant certifications in quality management or related fields are a plus.

* Basic Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 & AS9100 requirements.

Duties:

* Lead and manage a team of quality inspectors.

* Develop and implement quality inspection procedures and standards.

* Conduct regular inspections and audits of products and processes.

* Identify and address quality issues and non-conformities

Working Hours: 7.30 - 4.30 Monday to Thursday and 7.30 - 2pm on Friday
