Vehicle Ramp Inspector – Nights

Location: Grimsby

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 18:00 - 06:00

Salary: £37,321 - £41,207 per annum

Contract: Temp to Perm

We are recruiting Vehicle Ramp Inspectors on behalf of our client, a leading automotive company in Grimsby. This role is critical to ensuring vehicles meet required standards before reaching customers. Candidates must have a Level 2 qualification or higher and previous experience in a similar role.

The Role:

* Perform visual inspections of keys, tyres, wipers, and lights.

* Carry out under-bonnet checks and listen for engine noises or rattling.

* Inspect brakes, suspension components, and underbody for faults.

* Complete function tests on onboard equipment.

* Conduct diagnostic checks and report any issues.

* May be required to carry out mechanical repairs as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

* Level 2 Vehicle Technician qualification (essential).

* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.

* Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years).

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
