Job Title: Construction Teacher                                                                                                                                

Location: Langley Mill

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £162 - £251 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Langley Mill, Derbyshire. The school is a relatively small, community secondary school with a vibrant community feel. The school boasts fantastic facilities and offers opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote students’ engagement, to help them flourish personally and academically.

The school is looking to take on a Construction Teacher on a long term, fixed-term contract. This role will also involve some ICT. 

The successful applicant will be working in Key Stage 5, including exam preparation for GCSE’s and A Levels. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results in the subject, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

The successful Construction Teacher will have:

QTS with Design Technology or Construction specialism (ECTs are also welcomed)
Experience teaching Construction up to Key Stage 5
Excellent classroom management
