Learning Support Assistant - Uxbridge

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work within a wonderful SEND school located in the Uxbridge area. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to support children 1:1 with special needs to help them with all aspects of their development and you will be an important member of staff ensuring that all children receive tailored help as a Learning Support Assistant.

The Role:

Work with children 1:1 when needed to provide specialised support
A Learning Support Assistant requires you to work one-on-one or in a small group, supporting children with their education, behavioural and social development
Assisting Teachers to plan learning activities, prepare learning materials, complete records, and carry out administrative tasks
As a Learning Support Assistant you will be required to take photos while the student performs these tasks to upload as evidence into the system
Ensure everything is ready when students arrive the next morning from the afternoon priorRequirements:

Experience working with young people or SEND children in any capacity
You will need the ability to monitor each pupil's responses and adapt the learning activities to suit their needs
Have excellent verbal and written English skills
You must have an enhanced DBS or be willing to process a new one
Either live in Uxbridge or within a commutable distance
