We Build Recruitment are on the lookout for a Mechanical Project Manager based near to Leeds to join a well established but continually growing M&E contractor who have extensive experience in the design and build sector across both Mechanical and Electrical projects.

The projects they tend to work on are commercial on premises such as retail, schools, student accommodation etc with some industrial work too.

The package to an extent is negotiable and will be entirely based upon experience. However for a rough guideline, we’re looking in the £60 - £65,000 region for someone with more experience which also comes with a car allowance.

Job Role:

* Manage projects from conception through to completion. This includes assisting with the costing in pre construction, monitoring expenditure throughout the entirety and assisting with handover.

* Manage multiple projects at any one time in line with project scopes and deliverables

* To adopt a right first-time ethos with all aspects of the installation.

* To maintain accurate commercial and progress reporting on a regular basis

* Pre-construction coordination of design, planning and procurement activities.

* Monitor all the site foremen/operatives and ensure the work is being carried out to a satisfactory standard in line with clients expectations and company H&S standards

* Liaise with clients and update them throughout the project.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Previous experience as an Mechanical Project Manager

* Experience working on commercial projects as stated above

* Preferable Mechanical Qualifications such as a Degree or HNC in a relevant field

* SMSTS + CSCS card preferable
