This company are a high quality building company based in the East Midlands. They are responsible for general maintenance work and lconstruction projects predominantly in the NHS, universities and school sectors.

​As a company they pride themselves on the ability to work in live working environments with sensitivity and awareness keeping disruption to a minimum.

It's a small business where you will work closely with the owner and Contracts Manager.

The Role

You must be capable of carrying out most pre and post contract quantity surveying duties without supervision including:

Production of estimates from drawings.
Ensure that any estimates make adequate provision for both H&S and Environmental compliance
Production of Quantities, rates build ups and production of detailed estimates
Agreeing and placing of sub-contract orders.
Liaison with Contracts Managers
Project cost monitoring and reporting.
Account agreement with sub-contractors and clientsThe employee should ideally have the following attributes in order to be proficient in their role:
